Things I can't find on the web

1- Last night on AM news radio, I heard Da Mayor speak about what a waste of money spending $16 billion on a new moon shot would be. He suggested that investing $4 billion for science and math education and another $4 billion for othe social projects would be a better payoff. Daley is so great sometimes.

2- NY Yankee reserve Bubba Crosby rode the subway home after hitting a game-winning home run on Monday. I love tales of baseball players taking public transit. (I was impressed that John Rocker knew enough about the 7 line to include it in his racist tirade a couple of years ago.)
